Meet The Captain
Captain Stan Phillips began fishing the waters surrounding Destin as a teenager in the early 80's. He was first employed as a deckhand on the fishing boat Emmanuel in the summer of 1989.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Marine Biology in 1991, he returned to Captain boats in the Destin Harbor for the next eight years. From 2000 to 2013, Captain Stan owned and operated the charter boat Sea Winder.
Captain Stan then purchased, refurbished and began operating the charter boat Destination in 2013. With all of his experience Captain Stan has become a very good fisherman but he realizes that catching fish is only a small part of this business. That's why the entire crew of the Destination strives to treat each customer in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
